Family rivalry : Shoot-out leaves 2 dead, 3 injured

The case has been registered and investigation is under way

SHANGLA: A dispute over a petty issue between the families of Muhammad Hussain and Naqshbar in Sheensar area of Ranyal left at least two people dead and three injured. The fight resulted in an exchange of fire on Sunday. During the shoot-out, one of Naqshbar’s daughters-in-law died on the spot while his son, Fazal Din, and the other daughter-in-law were severely injured. Hussain’s college-going son, Altaf Hussain, also died on the spot while his brother Akbar Hussain sustained several injuries. According to a Ranyal police official, all the injured were rushed to Saidu Sharif Teaching Hospital immediately after the incident. “The case has been registered and investigation is under way,” he added.
