B-town’s brigade: Child stars and their glamour quotient

While Sonam Kapoor, Pernia Qureshi and Deepika Padukone have been ruling the Bollywood fashion realm so far, we take a look at the sartorial choices the upcoming stars of the fraternity have made. These ones not only have a name to make for themselves but also to keep their fathers’ legacy alive.

Athiya Shetty

The gorgeous daughter of Sunil Shetty was seen rocking the red carpet at the trailer launch of Hero, in which, she is starring opposite Sooraj Pancholi. Athiya was seen in a royal blue Neha Taneja dress featuring a tulle skirt. What added visual interest to the dress was a floral belt worn obi style. She wore her hair loosely middle parted and her look was finished out with basic black pumps. She made an impactful entrance at the first big press event for her film.

Shruti Hassan

With a few Tollywood and Kollywood films already under her belt, daughter of veteran actor Kamal Haassan, Shruti will be seen in the upcoming film Pulli. At the 19th Annual Colour Screen Awards she graced the red carpet in a striking purple gown designed by Amit GT. Her locks fell freely over her shoulder in waves, framing her lovely face. She accessorised with earrings and a beautiful pink pout that stood out against the colour of her dress.

Tina Ahuja

Actress Narmada (Tina) Ahuja who is Govinda’s daughter made her Bollywood debut in the upcoming film Second Hand Husband. She changed her name to Tina prior to doing the film so as to start her career with this new moniker. Ahuja was seen wearing a green Rajat Tangri knee-length dress that seemed ill-fitted for her. The dress seemed to be slipping down and the embellishments on it were oddly placed and unappealing. She chose a yellow-green nail colour, which brought a fresh appeal to her look, otherwise this one goes under fashion faux pas for Tina.
