PESHAWAR: In the wake of recent threats, security personnel on Friday closed and vacated the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) office in Hayatabad, Peshawar.

“Around 50 personnel of the armed forces and Hayatabad Police rushed to the site. First, they cordoned off the area and later entered the NADRA complex,” a police official said.

“All NADRA employees were asked to vacate the building,” he added, saying the office is still being scrutinised.
