LG polls : Over 40,000 new voters registered

Hearing of complaints of new delimitation of union councils will be held on July 2

RAWALPINDI: As preparations for the Punjab local government elections gear up, the provincial election commission has registered 40,681 new voters in Rawalpindi District. An official said that returning officers, hailing from the bureaucracy, have been hired and their training will start after the Eid holidays. Moreover, the hearing of complaints of new delimitation of union councils will be held on July 27.
