LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge sought comments on Wednesday from the FIA director on a plea seeking a case against the Phoolnagar XEN for swindling him by promising to get him a job. Petitioner Rasheed Haider said in January, several residents of Phoolnagar had held a protest against overbilling. He said XEN Hussain had visited the protest and had asked him to visit his office to get his utility bill corrected. Haider said he met Hussain at his office and they became friends. After a few days, Hussain offered to get him appointed at LESCO in exchange for Rs200,000. Haider said that he gave Hussain the money but he never made good his promise. He said when he asked Hussain to return the money, he refused.
