ISLAMABAD: The Capital Administration and Development Division has been directed to hold an inquiry about the use of substandard material in construction of a cardiac centre at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences. The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat has directed the division to submit a report to the committee within seven days and also expressed displeasure over the passive attitude of relevant authorities as they were unable to fix responsibility for the alleged embezzlement. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of MNA Rana Hayat Khan at Parliament House on Tuesday.
