MULTAN: The government is planning to create 10,000 seats for doctors in grades 18, 19 and 20, Provincial Assembly Member (MPA) Abdul Aleem Shah said on Wednesday.

He said improving quality of health services was a great challenge. “This will be overcome by inducting more specialists this year.”

Shah said 10,000 seats between grades 18 and 20 would be created for doctors.

The MPA said it was imperative that doctors worked in rural areas. “These are places where specialists are urgently needed,” he said.
