Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Swabi chapter has constituted a committee to take action against activists who worked against party interests at the time of the local government polls.
The decision to form a disciplinary committee was made during a meeting held at the residence of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser on Tuesday.
After a detailed discussion, the participants announced the constitution of a committee to take action against those party members who either contested polls independently or campaigned against the party’s own candidates.
The committee comprises Anwar Haqdad, Major (retd) Fida Hussain and Abdul Sattar among others. The committee has directed all party workers and stalwarts to submit their complaints and reports against all those who violated party decisions during the polls.
