Fatal collision: Five killed in road accident

The bodies were shifted to Roojhan Jamail village after legal formalities were completed

KHAIRPUR: Five members of a family were killed and two others injured in a road accident near Kumb on Monday. A family of the Jamali community were on their way to the Roojhan Jamali village in Balochistan from Nawabshah when their car they collided with a trailer-truck coming on the Kumb-Nawabshah Road. The accident resulted in the deaths of Gul Muhammad Jamali, Dur Muhammad Jamali, Muhammad Yakoob Jamali, Abdul Latif Jamali and Razul Jamali and the injury of two children. The injured were brought to Civil Hospital, Gambat, where their condition was stated to be serious. The bodies were shifted to Roojhan Jamail village after legal formalities were completed. The trailer-truck driver fled the scene soon after the incident. Kumb police have impounded the trailer-truck and registered a case against the driver.
