Sindh Police IG suspended on Friday night the orders issued by the Larkana DIG for the suspension of 35 SHOs of Larkana division.

DIG Saen Rakhio Mirani had suspended 35 SHOs throughout Larkana division on Friday. Of these, nine SHOs belonged to Larkana district, 13 to Shikarpur district, six to Kandhkot-Kashmore district and seven to the Kamber-Shahdadkot district. Not a single SHO was suspended from Jacobabad district.

Police sources in Larkana claimed that all the SHOs were suspended due to poor performance. On the other hand, a source claimed that as these SHOs were not posted through the DIG's recommendation, he had ordered their suspension.

Despite several attempts to contact DIG Mirani, he was available for comments. The SSPs of the relevant districts, too, did not attend their phones. Kamber-Shahdadkot SSP Sarfaraz Nawaz Shaikh attended the phone, but said that he was on leave and knew nothing about the matter.
