Gunned Down: Three farmers shot dead in Sujawal

The bodies were handed over to the family, which took them to their hometown for burial rites

HYDERABAD: Three farmers were shot dead in a village in Sujawal district on Friday. The bodies of elderly Habibullah Khan Mari as well as Ibrahim Khan Mari and Gul Muhammad Khan Mari were found in a guesthouse in Baranhabad village, Jati taluka in the morning. Ibrahim and Gul Muhammad both appeared to be around 30 years of age. SHO Mushtaq Brahmani said that the deceased belonged to Matiari district and had obtained land for cultivation in Baranhabad on lease from Abdul Hameed Nizamani. “Their family has informed us of their personal enmity in their hometown but our investigation is still in its initial stages,” he added. The bodies were handed over to the family, which took them to their hometown for burial rites.
