Armed attack leaves three dead in Sujawal

Sources say assailants managed to escape crime scene soon after the incident

SUJAWAL: At least three people were killed on Friday when armed intruders broke into a house in the Baranabad village of Jati tehsil in Sujawal and indiscriminately opened fire, Express News reported.

Sources said that the accused managed to escape the scene after the incident.

Later, the bodies of the deceased were shifted to the Tehsil Hospital Jati for conducting legal formalities.

Police officials said investigation has been started after registering a case against unidentified gunmen and added that the initial investigations suggest the incident is the result of an old feud.

A number of people fall victim to family disputes which are very common in the country.

Last month, two brothers were killed in firing by unidentified persons near Fawara Chowk on Circular Road, DI Khan.

According to the officials, the brothers were travelling in a Qingqi rickshaw when they were fired at.

The deceased were identified as Amir Sohail and Sanaullah who belonged to the Marwat tribe and were living in the Kachi Payenda Khan area of DI Khan.
