KARACHI: Sindh chief secretary Muhammad Siddiq Memon has sought a report from the Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (Sepa) regarding the implementation of the Sindh Environmental Protection (SEP) Act 2014, which relates to the import, manufacture and distribution of non-degradable plastic products. As per the law, the scheduled plastic products must be oxo-biodegradable while its pro-degrading use must be approved by Sepa or any other related department or agency.
