11 killed in road accident in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: 11 people were killed, while seven were critically injured when a wagon fell into a ravine near Rawalpindi on Friday morning, Express News reported.

According to reports, the wagon was on its way to Rawalpindi from Rawalkot when it lost control and fell into the ravine.

Soon after the incident, rescue teams arrived and shifted the injured to CMH Rawalkot.

Earlier on Sunday, seven people were killed, while 10 others were injured when a van collided with a dumper in Chakwal.

According to reports, the van was on its way from Mianwali to Chakwal when the accident happened on Talakung Road.

Rescue teams arrived shortly at the scene after the accident.
