Seven killed in road accident in Chakwal

CHAKWAL: Seven people were killed, while 10 others were injured when a van collided with a dumper in Chakwal on Sunday afternoon, Express News reported.

According to reports, the van was on its way from Mianwali to Chakwal when the accident happened on Talakung Road.

Rescue teams arrived shortly at the scene after the accident.

Earlier on Thursday, seven people were killed and 25 others injured when a Sehwan-bound passenger coach overturned near Naushero Feroz bypass.

The passenger coach was on its way to Sehwan from Punjab when the driver lost control near the Naushero Feroz bypass. The speeding vehicle overturned and, as a result, five persons were killed and 25 others, including women and children, were injured.
