According to The Indian Express, Zayn's friend Naughty Boy accused Righteous for stealing the song, reported Mettro. “Just wait for the real one… you won’t be disappointed,” tweeted Boy. The tweet however was removed from Twitter shortly.

Righteous instantly responded that the accusation was false.

Naughty Boy also tweeted that the real version of the song was coming, a version that Righteous says will feature English rappers Krept and Konan in his stead.

The song was taken down but Righteous later re-uploaded it, insisting he does not have to “keep the label happy” and was making the song public for Zayn’s sake as he isn’t allowed to release music for two years.

He also posted on Facebook that he "got fed up of waiting" for various labels to sign off on his material with Zayn and "took matters into my own hands regardless of repercussions, leaking that song with Zayn was a way for me to set the fact that I'm doing this independently in stone."
British rapper, MIC Righteous feels betrayed by his old friend Naughty Boy and compared the situation to Peter denying knowing Jesus.
