KARACHI: A massive reshuffling of officials in the police department took place on Tuesday, with a similar reshuffle also likely in a few days. According to a notification issued by the services department, Captain (retd) Tahir Naveed, who has previously been posted as East and Central DIG, was appointed as License Branch DIG, Ameen Yousuf as Rapid Response Force DIG, Aftab Pathan as Sindh Reserve Police DIG and Khadim Hussain Rind as Hyderabad DIG. Meanwhile, Abdullah Shaikh has been posted as Criminal Investigation Agency DIG, replacing Sultan Khawaja who has been made Administration DIG. Furthermore, DSP Khalid Khan has been appointed as Sohrab Goth SDPO while DSP Qamar Ahmed has been appointed as Malir SDPO.
