Another two commanders of outlawed Baloch insurgent groups and 57 more fighters laid down their arms and renounced violence on Sunday.
The commanders – Din Jan alias Meeran of the Balochistan Liberation Front and Ubaidullah alias Beebarg of the Tazeem Lashkar-e-Balochistan – as well as fighters loyal to them handed over their arms to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Nawab Sanaullah Zehri at a ceremony in Khuzdar.
Both commanders chanted slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ and ‘Balochistan Paindabad’, and vowed to join the political mainstream. They were also presented with shawls emblazoned with the Pakistani flag.
