KARACHI:
The deadly brain-eating amoeba claimed its eighth life in Karachi within two months. Talib Ali, 56, a resident of Federal B Area died in a private hospital on Wednesday just one day after he was brought in. The report of his death was shared with health officials on Thursday.
"There is no history that the deceased had gone swimming," said Dr Zafar Ejaz, the Karachi health director.
