Man tortures 4-year-old stepson to death, leaves another critically injured

Adnan, 7, is fighting for his life in a Karachi hospital while his brother died after being tortured by stepfather

KARACHI: A four-year-old boy was tortured to death by his stepfather on Tuesday while his seven-year-old brother is fighting for his life after facing the same brutality, Express News reported on Tuesday.

The incident took place in Karachi's Korangi area. 

Initial reports revealed that the young boys Kamran, 4, and Adnan, 7, were often subjected to abuse and violence at the hands of their stepfather in the absence of their mother.

Adnan remains in critical condition and has been shifted to Jinnah Hospital.

Sources also stated that the step father together with the mother indulged in alcohol on a regular basis.

The stepfather, who is yet to be named, has reportedly fled the area and a search operation has commenced.
