PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Association for the Deaf held a protest rally in front of the K-P Assembly on Monday. They demanded that the legislature pay attention to their plight and use the platform of the provincial assembly to give them their rights. The protesters were led by the president of the association, Hamidullah Khan Chamkani. Chief Minister Pervez Khattak also met the protesters. He told them their demands will be taken into consideration. They were told by the CM that they “will get to hear good news soon”. Protesters however added if their demands are not met, they will take to the streets again.
