The team featured players from three generations; Qudsia Dossa, her daughter Rubina Hai and granddaughter Fatima Raza. Roshan Ara Bokhari and Zeenat Azwer were also part of the contingent.
The team sealed the win in the final with a margin of one International Match Point (IMP) against India.
“The same team also won the title in 2013, and they are getting better and better,” veteran bridge player Syed Ameer Hassan told The Express Tribune.
With the win, the team booked their ticket to the Bermuda Bowl World Team Championship that will begin in Chennai, India in September.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan senior’s team also defeated Sri Lanka with a margin of 30 IMPs in the seniors’ championship final.
