Rickshaw blast: Cylinder explosion leaves two dead in Lahore

Two people were also injured in the blast

LAHORE: Two people died and another three others were injured when a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder of a rickshaw exploded on Lahore’s Ferozepur Road on Friday evening.

Police and rescue teams arrived at the scene immediately after the blast and moved the injured to the hospital.

One of the persons who died in the blast was identified as Abdul Majeed, 50, a resident of Okara and a father of five. The other dead could not be immediately identified.

The injured include Fahad and Shahid.

Khurram S | 8 years ago | Reply It was a cylinder blast because had it been a suicide blast some Taliban group would be there claiming responsibility for it.
