Safety first: Schools directed to have buildings inspected

LAHORE:

The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has directed partner schools in its Education Voucher Scheme to get fitness certificates for their buildings.

In a letter issued by the Education Voucher Scheme director, the schools have been directed to ensure that their buildings are safe. “The schools should complete all work during vacations. Action will be taken against schools that fail to meet the PEF policy,” it stated.
