PESHAWAR: A clash erupted between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Peoples Party workers in Peshawar on Tuesday, Express News reported.
The scuffle between party workers broke out after PTI chairman Imran Khan left a primary school he was touring in Peshawar. Supporters had gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the party chairman.
However, as soon as Imran left, a brawl broke out with PPP supporters.
Earlier, PTI chairman while addressing the media after his school tour lashed out at the government for not apprising political parties regarding the Pakistan, China Economic Corridor.
"The Economic Corridor was a great opportunity to unite all four provinces but other provinces don’t even know the route for it," Imran said.
"If it is not made in the most profitable way with the shortest route then it will weaken federations and increase hatred against Punjab," the PTI chief added.
Further, Imran said he will hold rallies in Peshawar, Nowshera and Mardan.
