PESHAWAR: A clash erupted between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Peoples Party workers in Peshawar on Tuesday, Express News reported.

The scuffle between party workers broke out after PTI chairman Imran Khan left a primary school he was touring in Peshawar. Supporters had gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the party chairman.

However, as soon as Imran left, a brawl broke out with PPP supporters.

Earlier, PTI chairman while addressing the media after his school tour lashed out at the government for not apprising political parties regarding the Pakistan, China Economic Corridor.

"The Economic Corridor was a great opportunity to unite all four provinces but other provinces don’t even know the route for it," Imran said.

"If it is not made in the most profitable way with the shortest route then it will weaken federations and increase hatred against Punjab," the PTI chief added.

Further, Imran said he will hold rallies in Peshawar, Nowshera and Mardan.

Agha | 8 years ago | Reply @pervaiz... very lame and vague statement brother. This is the mentality that needs to be changed otherwise we'll always see selfish and self centered businessmen like Nawaz Sharif as our Prime Minister. Nawaz Sharif never thinks about Pakistan, he thinks only about Punjab
Agha | 8 years ago | Reply @Sceptic.. Why am I not surprised to see such a lame comment from a sceptic person??? Imran Khan himself is from Punjab and I salute his courage and his devotion towards the betterment of KPK. What wrong did he say? Nothing, in fact his statement totally goes in favor of our country as a whole because we need to fulfill the demands of all provinces not a single province Punjab. Shortest possible route for PAK-CHINA Economic Corridor is via KPK and Baluchistan but I don't know why it has been changed to Punjab adding thousand extra kilometers. The reason being, point scoring for Punjab and ignore the under developed provinces of Baluchistan, Sindh and KPK. Honestly speaking Imran Khan is the only hope.
