The annual Urs of Bari Imam has been postponed due to security reasons for an indefinite period. An Islamabad Capital Territory spokesperson on Thursday said that the Urs was earlier scheduled to start on May 28.
This is not the first instance that the Urs have been postponed. Back in 2010 the Urs was postponed due to security reasons.
