Power pilferage: SDO suspended over poor performance

FAISALABAD:

Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) Chief Executive Rasheed Aslam on Wednesday suspended City Division SDO Sardar Rasheed for failing to control power pilferage in his assigned area. A FESCO spokesman told The Express Tribune that a campaign had been launched against power pilferers on the directives of FESCO chief. He said each SDO had been assigned a recovery target.  He said while reviewing performance of the SDOs in the campaign, the FESCO chief had found that City SDO had failed to meet the targets set for him. He said the FESCO chief had then suspended SDO.
