Engineering and construction: Company to enhance manpower import
Over 160,000 Pakistanis have worked in the Middle East and Africa
ISLAMABAD:
The Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), an engineering and construction company, has announced to enhance manpower import from Pakistan for various projects in the Middle East. A delegation of the CCC visited the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) along with Muhammad Ishtiaq Qureshi, the former vice president of ICCI, and discussed ways to promote business activities. He said over 160,000 Pakistanis have worked in the Middle East and Africa and sent billions of dollars in remittances. He said that many of them were associated with the CCC for the last 47 years. He said that the company was interested in importing professionals especially for civil work and would try to enhance manpower import from Pakistan for various projects.
