HARIPUR: Former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has joined those calling for a ban on political parties reportedly involved in terrorism. He issued this statement while talking to the media during his visit to the residence of Pir Hameed, a local religious figure in Omar Khana village of Ghazi tehsil. The senior PPP leader said he supported the Karachi operation, adding, “It is imperative to eradicate terrorism from the financial hub of the country.” He said the entire nation stood behind the Pakistan Army. To a question, Ashraf replied that political parties involved in terrorism must be exposed and banned.
