The suspects, Tahir alias Lamba and Junaid Khan, both activists of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, were arrested by the Malir police last month from the outskirts of the city off Super Highway.
According to the prosecution, the suspects were involved in anti-state activities and were planning schemes to spread terror in the country along with their absconding accomplices.
The investigation officer submitted to the court that the suspects' facilitators were hiding in the city and he needed time to trace them. The ATC-I judge, Bashir Ahmed Khoso, approved the plea and extended the physical remand of the suspects till May 26.
