The Provincial Selection Board recommended promoting 53 officers of three departments on Wednesday.
Most of these officers will be promoted from grade 19 to grade 20. Chief Secretary Khizer Hayat Gondal chaired the selection board’s meeting at the civil secretariat.
Secretaries for Services, Regulations, Finance, Health, Home and Livestock Departments also attended it.
The selection board had considered promotions of 100 officers in the Health Department and recommended promotions for 50 of them from grade 19 to 20. Two officers of the Home Department were recommended to be promoted to grade 20 and one grade 18 officer of the Livestock Department was recommended to be promoted to grade 19.
The official notification of the promotions will be issued after approval of the chief minister.
