PESHAWAR: K-P Board of Investment and Trade has announced plans to establish a theme park, recreational centre as well as various sports facilities at Hund village, Swabi. Senator Mohsin Aziz said 400 kanals of land has been acquired for the project and local investors have shown interest in the initiative. According to Aziz, the theme park is a joint venture with the Tourism Corporation Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and aims to attract investment in tourism-related projects. He said the provincial government is taking all possible measures to attract maximum investment in K-P.  “Local and foreign companies intend to invest $1.2 billion in tourism, energy and agriculture sectors,” Aziz said. “They have submitted their proposals in this regard and we have received 12 so far.”
