Four people died while several others were injured in different rain-related incidents in Larkana and Kamber-Shahdadkot on Monday.
Torrential rains coupled with strong winds hit some parts of upper Sindh, including Larkana and Kamber-Shahdadkot. As a result, roofs and walls of some houses collapsed in different areas.
In Larkana, the wall of an under-construction building collapsed in Sachal Colony. As a result, the watchman, Manzoor Chandio and his three-year-old daughter, Akhtar, were killed, while his wife, Sobia, was injured.
The rain also caused accidents in Channa Muhalla and others, where five persons including Muhammad Panjal, Noor Muhammad and five-year-old Sadia were injured and shifted to Chandka Medical College Hospital.
In Kamber-Shahdadkot, the roof of a house caved in in Khan Jo Goth village and a woman, Kazbano, and her six-month-old son, Muntazir Hussain, were killed, while her husband, Muhammad Bux Chandio, was injured and shifted to Kamber Hospital.
