Quarterly Report: 500 suspects arrested

BANNU: Bannu police arrested 500 suspects and 636 proclaimed offenders during the last four months in continuing operations in the district. The DPO had created various teams under the supervision of ASP Muhammad Riaz. According to a police officer, 119 Kalashnikovs, 15 Kalakovs, 26 rifles, one LMG, 19 hand grenades, 163 guns, 714 pistols, 7 knives, 28,876 cartridges, over 65 kilogrammes of hashish and numerous bottles of liquor were recovered from the possession of the detainees. The officer added the arrested proclaimed offenders were wanted in multiple cases of murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, robbery and other crimes.
