LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday took notice of a news report about a panchayat decision where a five-year-old girl was declared vanni and given in compensation to resolve a dispute between two families in Rahim Yar Khan. Sharif directed the Rahim Yar Khan DPO to investigate the matter and bring the perpetrators to justice. The DPO was asked to submit a report about his investigation to the chief minister’s office.
