Service Rules: Show cause notices by ETPB stayed

LAHORE: Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan of Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday suspended operation of show cause notices issued to eight employees of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB). The court sought a reply from the ETPB chairman by June 26. Counsel for the employees told the court that they had been regularised four years ago on the court’s directive. They said ETPB Chairman Siddiqul Farooq had now issued them show cause notices. The court suspended operation of the notices.
