RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi police have arrested 18 suspects, including six for violating house renting rules, in different case. The police recovered 1.2 kilogramme hashish, seven pistols with 46 rounds, two revolvers with 11 rounds, and a kalashnikov with 15 rounds from the suspects. According to a police spokesman, Waris Khan police held Ghulam Hussain for carrying 700 gramme hashish while Sadiqabad police arrested Asad Shah with 540 grammes of hashish. Pirwadhai police held Jamil, Mehtab, Tahir Nazir and Wajid Ullah in possession of illegal weapons. Waris Khan police also apprehended Abdul Ghafoor with a 30-bore pistol and Pirwadhai police arrested Asghar for carrying a Kalashnikov and 15 rounds. Meanwhile, the police also arrested six persons for renting out their properties without registering their tenants with the police.
