The idea behind the event is to offer customers and partners a chance to discuss local and global trends, developments and opportunities for growth.
The company has had a long-standing presence in Pakistan since 1993, with 267 installed pieces of equipment, 18 customers and a double-digit PET market share.
According to industry estimates, milk is the most consumed beverage item in the market, followed by carbonated soft drinks, juices and bottled water respectively.
The combined consumption is expected to be 3 billion litres in 2015 and to grow to over 4.1 billion litres by 2019.
The expected growth also creates greater need for innovative packaging solutions.
Clive Smith, vice president of the Greater Middle East and Africa Zone at Sidel, said, “Pakistan is a focus market for us and we believe that it offers strong growth opportunities for organisations in various industries.”
He said the Value Creation Day was organised to inform current and potential customers of the services and new technologies that Sidel offered in the region.
C-level speakers will present themes ranging from industry trends to latest innovations in packaging solutions, as well as Sidel’s after-sales services. The event will feature Sidel’s innovative solutions in PET packaging, blowing, and filling such as the Sidel MatrixTM System, StarLite Base and Sidel Rightweight.
