A private electronics company has come under fire for repeated traffic violations, accumulating an 22,552 e-challan offences. The total fine imposed on the company stands at Rs5.34 million.
Lahore's Traffic Police has issued a recovery notice to the company, demanding payment of the outstanding amount. Failure to comply will result in a crackdown on the company's vehicles involved in violations.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore, Ammara Athar, issued a stern warning, stating that all citizens must strictly adhere to traffic regulations.
She highlighted that enforcement teams are actively monitoring key roads, including Mall Road, Jail Road, Ferozepur Road, and Main Boulevard Gulberg. Additionally, she noted that vehicle owners with unpaid e-challans would be barred from availing police services until their fines are settled.
