Intelligence agencies to assist in investigation of Sabeen Mahmud's murder

DG ISPR condemns attack, extends condolences to Mahmud's family

While condemning the killing of rights activist Sabeen Mahmud, Director General ISPR General Asim Bajwa said on Saturday that intelligence agencies would provide all assistance in the investigation of the murder.

"Intelligence agencies have been tasked to render all possible assistance to investigating agencies for the apprehension of perpetrators and bring them to justice," Gen Bajwa tweeted.



Gen Bajwa also extended his sympathies and condolences to Mahmud's family.



Mahmud was shot dead late Friday evening as she was on her way home after hosting a seminar on the troubled region of Balochistan at her cafe The Second Floor, t2F.

The session, 'Unsilencing Balochistan (Take 2)', featured the chairperson of Voice for Missing Baloch Persons (VBMP), Mama Qadeer. This was the same session which was due to be held at LUMS a few weeks ago, but was cancelled at the last minute.

All these missing from Baluchistan are in training camps in Rajistan and Afghanistan.
Right, and the tortured bodies of these missing person found in Pakistan, not in Afghanistan, are of whom? Another Punjabi propagandist, trying to cover the looting and butchering of Baluchis.
