Bollywood movies taught me about love: Zayn Malik

Former One Direction member Zayn Malik, has Bollywood to thank for his romancing skills. The 22-year-old admitted to picking up a few tips from his favourite film, Bombay.

"I was a lover boy around the age of ten,” revealed the young star.

He further added, “I always had an idea from an early age what it was like to be in love - it was only later that I figured it out!” It leaves one wondering how he worked the Bollywood charm with Perrie?

But that’s not all, from deciding to live a ‘normal’ life to releasing his first solo, Zayn may have found a new direction heading towards acting. Rumour has it that he might be starring in a musical. According to The Mirror, Gurinder Chadha, director of Bend It Like Beckham, spoke about casting Zayn in her next film. “We’ve met and spoken. He trained as an actor first then became part of the band. So I think what he’ll be doing is staying true to his heart – and that’s all you can ever do,” said the director.

However, the singer hasn’t been assigned a role as yet, the director added, “I don’t have a part in mind for Zayn just yet but hopefully in the future.”

Since the time he quite 1D, the singer claims to be doing okay, he said, “All is good. I'm doing alright”. He is engaged to Little Mix star, Perrie Edwards and they have been going strong ever since he decided to opt for the 'normal' life.
