HYDERABAD: The Jamshoro police shot dead two suspected highway robbers and injured two others in a police encounter in Tando Shahbaz village near Sehwan town on Monday. Three suspects were also arrested. Jamshoro SSP Tariq Wilayat said the exchange of fire took place as the police chased the robbers who had escaped after looting a Karachi-Larkana bound passenger bus on the Indus Highway near Sehwan. They kept the passengers hostage and took cash, mobile phones and other commodities worth millions of rupees.
