Earth day: Environmentally conscious Karachi

KARACHI: In honour of Earth Day, the city administration will start a plantation and cleanliness week from April 22. The district administration of Karachi will cooperate with the relevant government and private organisations working in the environment sector. Commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui stated that due to the increasing population, the city faces big environmental challenges and in order to find a solution, the community and government organisations will have to work together.
