Apprehended: Explosives seized
The suspected militant was heading to Kohat from Darra Adam Khel
KOHAT:
Police seized three kilogrammes of high-quality explosives from a suspected militant who was heading to Kohat from Darra Adam Khel on Thursday. He was apprehended near Kohat Tunnel Toll Plaza. An official of Muhammad Riaz Shaheed police station, Rajab Khan, said they were checking vehicles on Indus Highway near the toll plaza when a passenger van was stopped and searched.
The explosives, along with an 11-metre-long safety fuse, were seized. Police added the suspect was identified as Sher Nawaz, a resident of Bazidkhel in Darra Adam Khel. Kohat police registered a case and started an investigation.
