Entertainment: Margalla Festival from Thursday

ISLAMABAD:


The Capital Development Authority (CDA) would organize Margalla Festival from April 16 to 19 at Arts and Crafts Village, Islamabad.     


CDA Sports and Cultural Directorate director general Asif Javed Shah Jahan said that artists from all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan will attend the event.


He said close to 200,000 people are expected to visit the festival.


Stalls, folk musical and dance performances, stage plays will be a part of the festival. The event will also feature photography, painting and cooking competitions, as well as a heavy bikes show and pet show.


Stalls of mehndi and artificial jewelry and a food court are also part of the festival.
