KATLANG:
Two pilots of a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) training aircraft were rescued by a local farmer when their plane made an emergency landing in a field in Katlang area of Mardan. The Mushak 189 was on a training flight, when it developed some technical fault, forcing Squadron Leader Asim Farooq and another Haseeb to land. According to eyewitnesses, the plane safely touched down, but overturned upon stopping, leaving the two-man crew trapped inside. A farmer working in the nearby fields rushed to the spot and helped the pilots out of the aircraft. The PAF men received minor injuries in the incident.
