KARACHI: Pakistan’s Abdul Raheem was outplayed 4-1 by Hong Kong’s Ming Tung Chan in their Asian U21 Snooker Championship Group F match played in Beijing, China.

Ming won the first frame after a tough fight, while Raheem brought himself back in contention by winning the second frame to make it 1-1.

The third prove to be a close bout as well, but Ming came out on top and from there on he proved unstoppable as he won by scores of 61-53, 15-65, 56-46, 76-19 and 67-0.

Raheem is placed is placed in a difficult Group F alongwith Ming, explosive Zhao Xintong of China and Syria’s Yazan Alhadad.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Faheem is in Group H along with India’s ML Laxman, Hong Kong’s Man Hoi Leong and an unnamed player from China.

Compatriot Amir Tariq will play in Group K against China’s Huang Jiahao, Iran’s Alireza Rezaei and Hong Kong’s Yun Fung.
