Zain rauf’s killing: Another FIR against Mustafa Kanju

LAHORE: Police registered another FIR on Tuesday against Mustafa Kanju, accused of killing a teenager on April 1. The FIR states that Kanju, son of a former minister of state, has failed to produce the licence of the Kalashnikov rifle that he had used to fire shots on the day. Police said fingerprints on the rifle had matched with those of Kanju. South Cantt Station House Officer Raja Muzammil told The Express Tribune Kanju had admitted, in police custody, to have fired shots that resulted in Zain Rauf’s death. However, he said, his target was not the boy and that he was not under alcohol’s influence at that time.
