Majid Khan and Javed Mansoor scored their first centuries of the tournament to help Karachi Electric (K-E) post 393-8 against Karachi Port Trust (KPT) on the opening day of the second semi-final of the Patron’s Trophy Grade II at the National Stadium of Karachi on Tuesday.
Majid scored 146 from 222 balls, while wicketkeeper Mansoor scored 113 runs off 120 balls.
Mir Hamza (36), Saud Shakeel (30) and Rameez Raja (21) also contributed with important knocks for K-E.
Bilawal, who took two wickets in the last group matches, took four in this match along with Baber Rehman, Raza Ali Dar and Mansoor Ahmed taking one each.
At the end of play, KPT were 6-0 after five overs of play in the second innings.
