Texting 333: District admin introduces SMS complaint service

The district administration of Peshawar has introduced an SMS complaint service to address grievances of the public.


The aim of the service is to eradicate corruption in public institutes, said Deputy Commissioner Riaz Mehsud while addressing the media at his office on Monday.


The focal person for the complaint service will be Additional Deputy Commissioner Usama Ahmed Warraich who can be reached by sending an SMS on 333. The complainant is asked to message their complaint on the said number.


Mehsud discussed the efforts of the district administration, saying it plans to continue to demolish illegal buildings. He added the administration has recovered land worth Rs2 billion from those who had encroached upon the property of the government. He said Rs18 million has also been collected in fines during price checks.
